On its own, Resident Evil Requiem is arguably one of the best games in the entire franchise. It’s a heart-pounding, nostalgic adventure that grabs and keeps your attention the whole way through its twisting story. However, just because a game is incredible by default doesn’t mean you can’t make it better or personalize it in your own way through the use of mods.
Even though Resident Evil Requiem is a newer game, the community at Nexus Mods has been hard at work to deliver quality mods that change up gameplay, performance, and more. While you can spend hours scrolling through the mod list and trying to find ones that will suit you, there’s an easier way to go about it. We’ve compiled a list of the top 10 mods that you can download right now for Resident Evil Requiem, but as the game grows, we’ll continue to add more and more mods to the list.
REFramework

- Created by: praydog
- Download: Nexus Mods
This is the most downloaded mod for Resident Evil Requiem on Nexus Mods, and for good reason. REFramework is a modding framework that is required for a number of mods to work properly after installing them. Think of it as a background mod that doesn’t do much to alter gameplay, but it frees you up to download most mods available for the game.
Max Stack Sizes

- Created by: LordGregory
- Download: Nexus Mods
Trying to manage your limited inventory space throughout Resident Evil Requiem is always a challenge. Fortunately, with the Max Stack Sizes mod, you can free up several key inventory slots. This mod simply makes it so your items can stack to whatever number you want (999 or 9,999). For example, if you have some grenades saved up, you can now combine all of them into one stack instead of just having a few of them take up several stacks in your inventory. All items that can go in your inventory are compatible with this mod.
Cheat – Infinite Ammo and HP

Be honest with yourself, how many times have you wanted to cheat while playing a Resident Evil game? The franchise is notorious for supplying you with very little ammunition, healing items, and other valuable resources. The same is true in Resident Evil Requiem, but not if you download the Cheat – Infinite Ammo and HP mod. This mod does exactly what it says: it gives you an infinite supply of all ammo types and HP. It might feel wrong at first, but when you’re dealing with multiple enemies at once, you might be glad you don’t have to worry about running out of revolver ammo.
Easy Parry

- Created by: OverZ3
- Download: Nexus Mods
The parry mechanic is crucial to your survival in Resident Evil Requiem, but it can be extremely unforgiving in combat. Even if you think you nailed the timing on a parry, sometimes the game doesn’t agree. If you’re struggling with the mechanic or just want to make combat a little more seamless, download the Easy Parry mod, which extends the parry timing window. You can adjust it to your liking, so you’re able to still leave a little challenge for yourself if you want.
Bonus Content Unlocker

- Created by: WuhanBiohazard
- Download: Nexus Mods
There are some items in Resident Evil Requiem that you simply won’t be able to obtain. These are considered bonus items, and there’s a ton of them across all kinds of loot. Fortunately, you can instantly access all of these items with the Bonus Content Unlocker mod. The mod also includes an option for Insanity Difficulty, which allows you to put your new bonus content to the test.
Auto Item Reveal

- Created by: OverZ3
- Download: Nexus Mods
There’s nothing more annoying than missing a piece of loot in an area, as that loot could be the difference between living and dying in your next encounter. If you want to ensure you never miss any loot again, download the Auto Item Reveal mod. The mod simply makes it so that all possible loot on the map is visible to you.
Better Movement Speed

- Created by: junhx2
- Download: Nexus Mods
Whether you’re going for a speedrun or just want to make the game go a little faster, the Better Movement Speed mod is a great quality-of-life change in Resident Evil Requiem. The mod has different settings for all three playable characters, can be adjusted, and has multipliers for both walking and running. You can even adjust the speed at which enemies move, and it works in first and third-person.
Full Playable Leon

- Created by: Rabbit-TooneedIM
- Download: Nexus Mods
Some people have been waiting years and years to play as Leon again in Resident Evil. While Requiem brings him back as a playable character, it might not be enough for certain players. If you fall in that crowd, then the Full Playable Leon mod is right up your alley. It allows you to play as Leon for the entire game, including the times where you’re meant to be playing as Grace.
FOV Controls

- Created by: Reynbow
- Download: Nexus Mods
The default field of view in Resident Evil Requiem isn’t for everyone, and there is currently no way to adjust it in the base game. If you want a custom field of view, then download the FOV Controls mod, which gives you an FOV slider to adjust however you see fit. The mod works for both first and third-person, and has individual settings for either perspective.
Skip Intro Logos

- Created by: lingsamuel
- Download: Nexus Mods
There’s just something about Capcom games and long intro sequences. The Skip Intro Logos mod isn’t revolutionary, but it will save you some serious time in the long run. All it does is remove the intro logos from appearing after you boot up Requiem, allowing you to get to the main menu quicker and into the game right after opening it.
