Xbox’s ID@Xbox x IGN Showcase on October 20, 2026 handed out release dates for close to twenty indie games, from Shrek 2 Remastered on November 10 to a slate of 2027 titles including Rustown and Croak. Xbox confirmed the wrap-up in a post on X, pointing players to a recap of everything announced.
The dates run dense through the end of the year. Scramble Knights Online, an MMO-lite action RPG, launches on Xbox Series X/S and PC on October 26. The Wolf Among Us Remastered arrives October 29, the same day horror hit Mouthwashing comes to consoles. Zero Parades: Director’s Cut, the espionage RPG developed by ZA/UM, lands on Xbox Series X/S and PC on November 3, and A Game About Digging a Hole Together follows on December 4 on Xbox Series X/S and Xbox on PC, with Steam, PS5 and Nintendo Switch 2 versions at a later date. Paper Shredder is set for winter 2026 on Xbox Series X/S and PC.
Shrek 2 Remastered heads the holiday lineup
The licensed headline is Shrek 2 Remastered, which launches on Xbox Series X/S on November 10, 2026 with new graphics and new features. Same-day listings also appeared for Nintendo platforms and the Epic Games Store, so the Xbox version is one of several ports rather than an exclusive.
Three CRITICAL REFLEX games in one stretch
Publisher CRITICAL REFLEX puts three titles in the window. Arctic Eggs, a game about frying eggs on Mount Everest, came to Xbox the day of the showcase. Mouthwashing, developed by Wrong Organ, reached PC in September 2024 and follows the dying crew of a shipwrecked space freighter. No, I’m not a Human, a door-knocking interrogation game from developer Trioskaz that launched on PC in September 2025, comes to Xbox in 2027.
The 2027 tail
Further out, the showcase dated Rustown, a story-driven action-adventure game, for June 30, 2027 on PC and Xbox Series X/S. Croak, a hand-drawn 2D precision platformer with tongue-grapple and pinball-bounce mechanics, is set for March 2027. Mr. Records arrives in Spring 2027, Chronoscript: The Endless End in early summer 2027 with a PS5 version also planned, Love Is A Roguelite in Fall 2027, and Drill Keeper on PC Game Pass in summer 2027. Mr. Magpie’s Harmless Card Game is due in early 2027, with Waveling Island, Magenta Down, Vanran, Red Fritz and Graytail stretching the slate through 2027.
