If you’ve been eyeing Google’s latest fitness tracker, I’d suggest that you make up your mind quickly.
For those unaware, Google finally unveiled its Whoop-like screen-less fitness tracker yesterday. It’s called the Fitbit Air, and it is available to pre-order right now with a solid deal attached to it.
The Fitbit Air is compatible with both Android and iOS, and it comes with a free three-month trial of Google Health Premium.
The device boasts up to a week of battery life, complete with 24/7 heart rate tracking, heart rhythm monitoring with Afib alerts, SpO2 monitoring, resting heart rate and heart rate variability tracking, sleep stage monitoring, and more.
The Fitbit Air’s pre-order window started on May 7, and it ends on May 25. If you pre-order your Fitbit Air between these dates, you’ll get $35 in Google Store credits, essentially bringing the wearable’s price down to $64.99.
You’re free to spend the $35 on anything in the Google Store. However, Google is positioning this credit as the perfect way to “choose a band that fits your style.”
It’s worth noting that your original purchase will arrive with a band. Google suggests that you should reinvest the $35 credit in a secondary Performance or Active band, both of which cost $34.99.
Swap styles between the gym and the office
If you’re interested in pre-ordering the Fitbit Air, make sure you’re signed into your Google account on the Google Store. Guest checkouts are not eligible for this promotion.
It’s worth noting that the credits will not appear when you place the order. Instead, they will appear within 24 hours after your order ships. Once received, you have 365 days (one year) to use the credits.
